Tess' First Christmas
The kids really enjoyed Christmas at home.
Meredith and I survived, just barely, on not much sleep.
Of course, we ordered Chinese food for dinner!

Home
Tess on Day Two -- still at Columbia Presbyterian.
Our daytime nurse at the hospital was Irish. She said, "Tess Kelly -- now that's a great name."
"It's actually Tess Keithley."
The nurse winced at the English last name and said, "Well... what can I tell you. I like Tess Kelly a lot better."

Tess Is Born
Tess was born this morning in New York City at 8:03 a.m., weighing 3.500 kg
exactly (7 lbs, 11.5 oz) and measuring 20 inches.
Meredith and Tess are doing well. Silas and
Rosemary visited us in the hospital and were very gentle with their new sister.
